Day 9 - Cantigny

** I had a really hard time picking just one picture for today, so much so that I couldn't do it. I took about 200 pictures, here are 5 of my favorites **

Matt had to use one more vacation day before September 1st, so we decided to go to Cantigny this morning to walk around and enjoy the sunshine a bit.  Such a fun place to go, lots of gardens to walk through, tanks to climb on.  And, if you get there before 10 am its really cheap to get in!

Day 8 - Run! Run! Run!

Mini-Me was very excited to head to the "yellow park" with her neighbor friends, the second we got outside she took off running down the sidewalk to meet up with her friends as they were leaving their house. 

Day 7 - Mesmerized

Mini-me has fallen in love with the furry red monster known as Elmo.  She asks to watch Elmo and Mickey Mouse (aka "Mick me") at least once a day, she generally gets to watch one or the other, and its usually while I'm making dinner. Today's choice was Elmo. Mini-me was dancing around and hop hop hoping with Elmo and the Robot, and the next thing I know, she's sitting at the entrance to her 'house' mesmerized by Elmo!

Day 6 - Mini - Me is a mini momma

Mini-me loves babies and strollers. My old doll stroller was in my parents attic, I had cleaned it up for her, but it was hard for Mini-me to push it.  So, we got Mini-me her very own doll (aka baby) stroller and she is in love. Spent over an hour pushing around all of her babies and other favorites.

(on another note, not all of the pictures will be of Mini-me, we just done to many exciting things lately!)

Day 5 - Enjoying the fresh air

Mini-me and I decided to join dada (Matt) while he went for a run. I rode the bike, pulling mini me. Perfect day out for some peddling around the neighborhoods.

Day 3 - Mini-Me and Dada

Since it was perfect weather this afternoon, Mini-me and I walked around the block and then stopped at the park to play for a few minutes while we waited for the train to get in, so we could meet dada at the station. Love living with in walking distance of the Metra!

Day 2 - Mini - Me does laundry

Since it is 90+ degrees out today, we went to check out a new (to us) kids play area, called Kids Town.  There are tons of little rooms with all different set-ups - Pet Clinic, Market, Dance Studio, Reading Room, Princess Party, and a few others that I know I'm forgetting.  There is also padded climbing structure with a slide.  Mini-me loved it, and took a minute to do some laundry while we were there. And, before you ask, yes, she is this good of helper at home.

Hello and Thank You for stopping by. I decided today, that I wanted to put myself up to a 365 day photo challange. I enjoy taking pictures and hope to improve my skills by taking at least one picture a day for a year.
